The terminal is strategically located for national logistics and is equipped with advanced infrastructure for storage, intermodality, and rail transport, ensuring high operational efficiency. Each year, it handles approximately 50,000 loading units (UTIs) and the transit of about 6,000 trains.

SERVICES

INTERMODAL-CONVENTIONAL SERVICE

The facility is equipped with 8 tracks used for intermodal and conventional traffic. The arrival yard consists of 16 tracks.

For several railway companies, manoeuvring operations are carried out both for trains directed to the facility and for those heading to the nearby Interporto Sud Europa.

The Maddaloni-Marcianise terminal features a maintenance facility for freight cars operated by the Mercitalia Group. Currently, the terminal is connected to major national railway stations, including Milan, Segrate, Piacenza, Turin, Bologna, Ravenna, Busto, Cuneo, Padua, Rome, and Catania Cavatigozzi. Additionally, it has international connections to stations in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, and Croatia.
