Milan Terminal - Shunting

The Milan Terminal is a freight sorting hub spanning approximately 45,000 square meters. It facilitates a continuous service from Northern Europe (Munich-Bierset) to Central and Southern Italy (Pomezia-Marcianise-Catania).

How to reach us

By car: The facility is east of Milan, between the eastern ring road and the Rivoltana road.

By train: Milan – Venice railway line, Milan Terminal - Shunting.

By plane: 2 km from Linate Airport, 56 km from Malpensa Airport, and 57 km from Bergamo Airport.

SERVICES

The terminal uses three tracks (540 meters each), and the equipment currently employed includes 3 CVS Ferrari 500 cranes and 1 Belotti Bl72 crane.

The terminal operates in partnership with Mercitalia Rail and conducts terminal operations (MTO) through Mercitalia Intermodal.
