Click & Log launches a cargo bike service in Rome

Fast and green deliveries to give space back to the city

Rome takes a new step towards more sustainable and smart urban logistics. Click & Log, the start-up created in partnership by FS Logistix and Laziale Distribuzione, launches a new cargo bike delivery service in the Capital, in collaboration with the Parrott team, specialised in soft micro-mobility.

The service guarantees fast and safe no-emission deliveries, even on the same day, with vehicles that can move nimbly within limited traffic and Tridente areas. Cargo bikes are perfect for covering first and last mile stretches in city centres and densely populated areas, taking trucks off the streets and giving cities their spaces back.

"Cargo bikes strengthen our sustainable urban logistics models and get us closer to people - said Sabrina De Filippis, FS Logistix’s CEO. It is not just a matter of reducing emissions, it is also a matter of developing a service in tune with the city, its times and spaces, creating value for businesses, operators and residents. With Click & Log, we offer concrete and efficient solutions to local businesses, combining innovation, environmental responsibility and social attention".

The cargo bikes operate from the Scalo San Lorenzo logistics hub and serve businesses, and the catering, fashion, e-commerce and B2C sectors, whilst upholding high reliability and punctuality standards. The new vehicles join the existing green fleet for first-to-last mile deliveries. Click & Log’s service offer - available at www.click-log.it - is completed by a modern warehouse, with 6,000 square metres of indoor space and 25,000 square metres of yards connected to railway stations, airports, the port of Civitavecchia and the Santa Palomba logistics hub.

With this new service, Click & Log reaffirms its role as enabler of a modern, inclusive and territorially integrated urban logistics model, and makes Rome more accessible and connected through and through.
