A partnership to optimize traffic flows

The project focused on the strategic use of the Piacenza terminal, thanks to its proximity to the company headquarters, and on the implementation of a dedicated Company Train. The dedicated train was developed with specific wagons, times and days of operation synchronized with the needs of the company. The close collaboration between the partners and teamwork has made it possible to optimize road traction, reducing waiting times and improving the efficiency of the first and last mile. Furthermore, more efficient use of vehicles has led to a reduction in operating costs and CO₂ emissions. This project demonstrates how synergistic logistics management can lead to significant improvements in terms of efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness. The success of this partnership represents an example of excellence in the logistics and intermodal transport sector.
