Partial load Railway

The partial load service allows the use of part of a transport unit, optimising available space and reducing costs for smaller and medium-sized shipments.

Features

  • Transport of quantities of goods smaller than the total capacity of a wagon or intermodal transport unit (ITU).
  • Consolidation of shipments of several customers in one means of transport.
  • Management of goods via transit centres to aggregate loads/unloads.

Types of use

  • Shipments where the quantity of goods does not justify the use of a complete train or a dedicated vehicle.
  • Situations with smaller volumes and the need for frequent loading and unloading.

ADVANTAGES

  • Cost-effectiveness

Economical solution for shipments of small and medium quantities.
