With regard to the transport of waste, the Customer is required to verify with Mercitalia Intermodal which rail carriers will be involved and whether they have the necessary authorisations.

All dangerous goods permitted for transport according to RID-ADR regulations can be shipped within the Mercitalia Intermodal organization, with some exceptions to be verified with the competent office.

La nuova piattaforma Cesar-NEXT attraverso la funzionalità di Tracking and Tracing permette ai nostri Clienti di verificare la posizione dei loro trasporti. Per accedere all’area Tracking & Tracing è necessario effettuare la registrazione a Cesar-Next (cliccando su “register"), indicando Mercitalia Intermodal come Operatore Intermodale di riferimento. Vi verranno comunicate, con un messaggio di posta elettronica, le relative credenziali di accesso. Dopo la conferma sarà possibile creare ulteriori utenti per l’azienda direttamente sul sito Cesar-Next.

Track the location of your goods

Mercitalia Intermodal collaborates with major European intermodal operators, including Hupac, Kombiverkehr, and Novatrans, to manage the Cesar platform. The new Cesar-NEXT platform features a tracking and tracing capability that allows customers to monitor the location of their shipments. To access the tracking and tracing area, you must register for Cesar-NEXT by clicking "register" and selecting Mercitalia Intermodal as your reference intermodal operator. You will receive your access credentials via email. Once confirmed, you can create additional user accounts for your company directly on the Cesar-NEXT site.

Mercitalia Intermodal operates a modern fleet for intermodal transport, handling swap bodies, containers, and truckable semi-trailers. This fleet efficiently covers both national and international routes.

Thanks to significant technological investments, 15% of the wagons are equipped with sensors for real-time monitoring.

The company holds EU 445/2011 certification and has introduced innovations such as the "Smart Train," which ensures safe and automated transport. As a result, Mercitalia Intermodal manages over 10,000 international trains and more than 4,000 national trains each year. Customer satisfaction remains a key focus for the company's development and growth.
